“We must never cease to be good and pure like water.”

Episode 40 of Vefa Sultan is a slow, thoughtful hour built on patience and repentance. A lesson about a well opens the story, and Huseyin’s cloak soon draws the anger of Zulfikar Agha. His temper ends in a fall, and the dervishes must decide how to treat a man who wronged them. Yareli and Huseyin take him to the Sheikh, who sets out what real repentance demands. Physician Davud also makes his case for treating the troubled mind. This recap avoids the final scenes.

The Well, the Bird and the Cloak

The episode opens with a quiet lesson. Ahmed is still angry with a bird, and the Sheikh asks whether a well stops giving water when someone throws a stone into it. The well, he says, only knows the thirsty one. Later Huseyin shows the cloak he sewed, and the Sheikh asks what gives plain wool and felt its meaning. His answer is the heart of the dervish, who carries a burden for the sake of Allah alone. The cloak belongs to the one who has the share. A tender scene follows, where a husband tells his Sultan that their love is like a knot that does not spoil.

Zulfikar Agha Is Cast Out

Zulfikar Agha keeps demanding a cloak from Huseyin, and he threatens to prepare a shroud when it is not ready. Yareli warns him that a bad temper harms its owner most, but Zulfikar will not listen. A chase follows, and Zulfikar is hurt. At first the dervishes say it is Allah’s justice, yet they still bring water and help him. Then they tell him to take his things and leave. He answers that he has nowhere to go and no one. Huseyin and Yareli decide to take him to the Vefa Sultan’s lodge.

Check if you have issues on all your devices (phone, tablet, laptop, PC…) or just your TV.

Different manufacturers (Samsung, LG and others) have different operating systems on which their TV’s run. Samsung uses Tizen while LG has webOS and they are not up to date with the latest standards in video playback.

That’s why we developed a player which supports casting feature.
If the video is playable on your other devices, try casting it to your TV.

In some cases casting icon doesn’t show up on the lower edge of the player to iPhone/iPad owners.

If you face such an issue, we recommend using Tubio app. It’s free and you can download it from App Store by clicking this link.

With it, you can cast any video from your iPhone/iPad to your TV.

Yes it does! Our new player supports casting feature so you can easily cast the video from your phone/tablet/laptop or PC to your TV

Category: Playback Issues

Video casting is a feature which allows you to send (or cast) a video from your phone, tablet, laptop or a PC to your Smart TV or other Cast-enabled device (such as Smart TV’s, Chromecast and other devices with cast functionality).

It makes watching a video on your TV very convenient because you don’t have to use your TV’s browser (which are often not very user friendly) to find the video and play it on your TV.

Insted, you simply:

  • find it on your phone, tablet, laptop or a PC,
  • click ‘Cast’ button (image below) on the lower edge of the video,
  • select a TV to which you want to send the video

and video playback will start on your TV.

Note: Your TV and your phone, tablet, laptop or a PC need to be on the same network. It’s usually the case at home but, for example, if your phone is on mobile network and your TV is connected to your home network, casting button won’t show up on your phone because your phone doesn’t “see” your TV because they are not on the same network. In which case, simply connect your phone to your home network and reload the browsers page where the player is.

Clear cookies, clear cache, try a different browser.

Here’s a handy guide for most browsers.

Try using a different network. For example, if you have issues on your home network, you can try using your phone and it’s mobile network, in which case, your ISP is blocking the access to the video so maybe you should consider switching ISPs or using a VPS service.

The Sheikh’s Terms for Repentance

At the lodge Zulfikar says he has come to repent. The Sheikh replies that the door to repentance is regret, and that every sin leaves a black spot on the heart. If he sins again, he must repent again. Zulfikar must also ask forgiveness from each person he wronged and bring back a sign of approval. He is given a bag belonging to the lodge and sent out on the road. Elsewhere, Physician Davud argues that music and flowing water can heal a troubled mind. Belinay Hatun talks about what seclusion did to her husband Zembilli.
