Episode 54 of Vefa Sultan moves between the lodge and the road. A Sheikh guides a seeker on a journey to the kingdom of the heart, while Celaleddin and Salman face tests of their own. In the capital, Hace and his circle look for a way to bring Vefa down, and Zulfikar asks to enter seclusion. Sultan Mehmed’s call for jihad against Venice echoes through the streets. A Journey to the Kingdom of the Heart
Dervish Ali reports that the shoes he was ordered to prepare are stronger than before. Soon the Sheikh sets out with a seeker, explaining that a dervish’s journey begins by going to his heart, and that truth is seen and heard there, not with the eyes and ears. The seeker must keep dhikr on his tongue. When the soul grows thirsty, he fills a water skin, but he is warned to stay vigilant in the Valley of Knowledge. Later the Sheikh explains that what the seeker met along the way was meant to teach him, so that he would not lose himself.
Salman, Celaleddin and Davud Feel the Strain
Salman is shaken. He tells his wife that the dervishes let their Sheikh down, and he cannot stop thinking about the cloak that went to Davud. She calls it waswasa and reminds him that his worth has not changed. Celaleddin, meanwhile, scolds Davud for chanting while the others work, and Davud only answers that he must see his Sheikh. Celaleddin then searches the woods with Yareli for the right rest wood and nearly gives up, until Yareli tells him to listen with his heart. Zulfikar also asks Father Sheikh to let him enter seclusion.

Hace’s circle asks how Vefa managed to unite men they had worked so hard to separate. A report says Celaleddin has been visiting a Greek woman’s shop, so Hace orders him followed and the guards kept ready for his first mistake. Banned books given to Arif are also part of the plan. Near the end, the Soubashi arrives at the shop with a report and asks to search it.
