Episode 18 of Kuruluş Orhan opens at a moment of grief and fear, then moves quickly into a war on several fronts. Orhan Bey is dealing with a family that is divided over a secret, a Byzantine princess who has become an unlikely ally, and enemies who are gathering strength at Karacahisar and among the Kinik. With Alaeddin sent as envoy and a daring plan taking shape, the episode keeps the tension high from the first scene to the last.
Flavius, Fatma and Orhan’s Silence
The episode begins with Flavius fighting for his life while Fatma and Orhan wait for word from the doctors. Three weeks later, the family is still not whole. Orhan refuses to see Fatma and Flavius, telling them to speak to him only about their duties. Fatma fears he will never forgive them, and Flavius promises they will be patient and soften his heart. Later, Orhan explains to Asporca that he is not angry at their love. He is hurt that his sister carried the burden alone and lied to him.
Asporca, Nilufer and the Emperor’s Letter
The Emperor’s letter demands that Asporca marry Orhan, and the news reaches Nilufer. She tells Malhun Hatun she cannot share Orhan with anyone, and Malhun answers that every person is tested differently for the sake of the state. Orhan and Asporca then agree that neither wants the marriage and decide to show the Emperor an alliance is possible without it. Under the stars, they speak of fear and destiny and call each other allies. Meanwhile, a plot against Asporca takes shape in Iznik.

Alaeddin, Dumrul and Balaban go as envoys to Sahinshah, who answers with threats. On the road back, they are ambushed, and the cost is heavy. Boran and Fatma search for Alaeddin, and Malhun and Gonca wait at his bedside. Dursun’s role is also questioned, and Halime refuses to trust him. As the final scenes close in, Orhan’s own plan is put to the test.
