Episode 52 of Vefa Sultan opens with a lesson on what a dervish must leave behind. It then moves to the Musile-i Sahn madrasa, where Teacher Kamil is scolded in front of the other scholars and has to decide what to do next. At the lodge, Salman keeps the dervishes busy while Hursid and Cemsid keep hunting for treasure, and Yareli begins a gentle treatment with music and water. Eid preparations bring some warmth to the neighborhood.
A Lesson on Leaving the Ego Behind
A seeker tells his Sheikh how he searched for meaning. Celaleddin Dervish, who had knowledge, sent him to the loyal one. Salman, the loyal one, sent him on to the lover, but the lover’s words did not give him what he wanted. The Sheikh answers that Sufism is knowledge of situations, not of words, and that it passes from one soul to another. He then has the word Dervish written down and explains each letter as something to abandon: the world, hypocrisy, existence, lying and lust. Loyalty to love, he says, is the foundation of the path.
Kamil Steps Down at Musile-i Sahn
A senior Hace rebukes Teacher Kamil and Lutfi Effendi for sending students from the school to the lodge. Kamil is hurt at being scolded like a child in front of everyone and says he will resign. A friend urges him not to rush, and in the council Hace Muslihuddin suggests leaving the decision to time. Kamil’s decision stays final, and Molla Izari proposes Molla Lutfi as the new Head Teacher. Afterwards, Izari explains his choice to Danismend with a story about Mevlana and a bone thrown among friends.

Note: Your TV and your phone, tablet, laptop or a PC need to be on the same network.
