Watch Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi Episode 22 (Season 3 Episode 2) with English Subtitles – Omer Rides to Mugan to Save Efsun Hatun
“My son was from me, but he did not belong to me.”
Episode 22 opens with Efsun Hatun’s life hanging by a thread while Omer Atabek rides toward Mugan to save her. In the palace, Sultan Giyaseddin Keyhusrev tests Isfahani with a cruel question, and Shahzade Alaeddin carries a heavy secret about his father. Meanwhile the madrasa struggles without Hudavendigar, and Selahaddin Efendi must face students who doubt him. Here is what happens in Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi Episode 22 with English subtitles, without spoiling the ending.
Omer Atabek Sets Out for Mugan
Omer Atabek left for Mugan two days earlier, on his own order, and told only a few Efendis. When they finally admit it, the Sultan asks whether Omer understands that this move will lead to war. He speaks coldly about Efsun Hatun’s choice and compares it to the story of Khidr and Moses. Kamyar tells the Vizier that Omer is risking his life for the Vizier’s daughter. In Mugan, Efsun is kept without food while her guard talks about Baycu’s dagger and waits for word from Cormagon Noyan. Elsewhere, Idris Efendi asks the alchemist Shirazi for a strong poison.
The Sultan, the Shahzade and the Pigeons
Alaeddin tells his mother he does not want to be Sultan if it means killing people like his father. Later the Sultan shows him his pigeons and explains why he loves obedient animals. Alaeddin then confesses that he once squeezed a bird in his hands out of jealousy, and he asks his father for forgiveness. The Sultan answers with the image of a tree that dries up when its source falls ill. Still, he tells the Hanim that his son’s fear of him may be useful, and she warns him he is going too far.

For any issues, please check our FAQ
Check if you have issues on all your devices (phone, tablet, laptop, PC…) or just your TV.
Different manufacturers (Samsung, LG and others) have different operating systems on which their TV’s run. Samsung uses Tizen while LG has webOS and they are not up to date with the latest standards in video playback.
That’s why we developed a player which supports casting feature.
If the video is playable on your other devices, try casting it to your TV.
In some cases casting icon doesn’t show up on the lower edge of the player to iPhone/iPad owners.
If you face such an issue, we recommend using Tubio app. It’s free and you can download it from App Store by clicking this link.
With it, you can cast any video from your iPhone/iPad to your TV.

Yes it does! Our new player supports casting feature so you can easily cast the video from your phone/tablet/laptop or PC to your TV
Video casting is a feature which allows you to send (or cast) a video from your phone, tablet, laptop or a PC to your Smart TV or other Cast-enabled device (such as Smart TV’s, Chromecast and other devices with cast functionality).
It makes watching a video on your TV very convenient because you don’t have to use your TV’s browser (which are often not very user friendly) to find the video and play it on your TV.
Insted, you simply:
- find it on your phone, tablet, laptop or a PC,
- click ‘Cast’ button (image below) on the lower edge of the video,
- select a TV to which you want to send the video
and video playback will start on your TV.
Note: Your TV and your phone, tablet, laptop or a PC need to be on the same network. It’s usually the case at home but, for example, if your phone is on mobile network and your TV is connected to your home network, casting button won’t show up on your phone because your phone doesn’t “see” your TV because they are not on the same network. In which case, simply connect your phone to your home network and reload the browsers page where the player is.

Clear cookies, clear cache, try a different browser.
Here’s a handy guide for most browsers.
Try using a different network. For example, if you have issues on your home network, you can try using your phone and it’s mobile network, in which case, your ISP is blocking the access to the video so maybe you should consider switching ISPs or using a VPS service.
Selahaddin Takes the Seat at the Madrasa
With Hudavendigar shut away in his room, the madrasa is close to falling apart. Selahaddin Efendi finally arrives and announces that he has been chosen to represent Hudavendigar. The students refuse to accept him. One of them hands him a book and demands that he read it, and he admits he cannot read. Selahaddin replies that two people gave him two different orders, and that Hudavendigar’s order outweighs theirs. In the harem, Kirra Hatun and Cennet Hatun argue over longing and loss, while Kimya waits for Shams to come.
