At Hasan’s court, Savcu Bey and Kara Bey press for war, and Mahsud demands that an Ottoman province fall for his brother. Hasan asks his beys which of Mehmed’s words was wrong. He admits that he would have done the same with Shahzade Mustafa. Then he sends Mahsud to Karaman to make Suleyman pay for the trap. In Constantinople, Mehmed tells his commanders that Hasan’s reply will decide where the army marches.
