“I want justice, Prosecutor.”
Episode 21 opens with a revelation at the highlands. Esme tells Gezep and the prosecutor that Eleni is the daughter she had with Adil, and that Şerif sold the baby twenty years ago. Esme asks for justice, and the prosecutor promises to open a case file. Elsewhere, the Koçari and Furtuna families struggle over what to do about Eyüphan, while Şerif surprises everyone at the police station.
Esme Tells Gezep and the Prosecutor the Truth
At the highlands, Esme explains that she gave birth twenty years ago and believed her baby had died. She says her daughter is Eleni Miryano, who was sold and raised by a Greek woman. Gezep is overjoyed and shouts the news across the Black Sea until the prosecutor calms him down. The prosecutor promises to open the case file the next day and asks Esme to give a statement. Later, Gezep says he cannot lie to Adil, but Esme reminds him what he owes her and asks him to keep the secret until Şerif is locked up.
Eyüphan and the Cut Brake Line
Adil learns that Eyüphan, the captain’s son, cut the brakes on İso’s pickup, and that Eleni and Fadime nearly died in it. İso goes after him, and Koçari men argue that only a Koçari can punish one of their own. Şirin steps in and proposes an iftar for both families to discuss the blood debt. At the table, Oruç refuses to take a life during Ramadan and says he will decide on a punishment later, without bloodshed. Fadime also asks İso not to punish Eyüphan, because of their shared childhood.
