Episode 30 takes place on the eve of Eid al-Adha in Furtuna village. Esme and Adil have found their daughter Eleni, and now they must decide how to tell her the truth and what to do about the Furtunas. Serif’s fate, a death threat from Timur Volkov and an uneasy Eid feast with the Furtuna family all push the story forward. Warm family scenes sit next to sharp tension, and the final stretch leaves several questions open.
A Family Night on the Eve of Eid
Esme and Adil watch over Eleni as she sleeps and worry about how to tell her they are her parents. They bicker about a hard pillow, about marriage and about how a daughter would first say the word Dad. Esme then sings Eleni the folk song she once sang to a baby she nursed twenty years ago. When Eleni wakes, she already knows and explains why she kept it to herself. The three of them end the night promising that those who stole these twenty years will answer for it.
Serif Behind Bars and the Search for the Shooter
Serif is jailed again after a bitter confrontation, and he is told his twenty year sentence has begun. He is accused of selling a child, and the village gossips about it at the Eid table. Fadime and her husband keep wondering who shot her brother, and the Kocaris suspect Zarife. Esme and Adil agree to put the Furtunas at ease and strike when they least expect it. Oruc and Iso, meanwhile, try to work out how much the Kocaris really know.

Video casting is a feature which allows you to send (or cast) a video from your phone, tablet, laptop or a PC to your Smart TV or other Cast-enabled device (such as Smart TV’s, Chromecast and other devices with cast functionality).
It makes watching a video on your TV very convenient because you don’t have to use your TV’s browser (which are often not very user friendly) to find the video and play it on your TV.
Insted, you simply:
- find it on your phone, tablet, laptop or a PC,
- click ‘Cast’ button (image below) on the lower edge of the video,
- select a TV to which you want to send the video
and video playback will start on your TV.
Note: Your TV and your phone, tablet, laptop or a PC need to be on the same network. It’s usually the case at home but, for example, if your phone is on mobile network and your TV is connected to your home network, casting button won’t show up on your phone because your phone doesn’t “see” your TV because they are not on the same network. In which case, simply connect your phone to your home network and reload the browsers page where the player is.

Timur Volkov’s Threat and a Marriage of Rebellion
A prosecutor shows Adil a message found in one of his trucks from Russia. It is a death threat from Timur Volkov, and Adil is told he may be the fifth to die. Adil answers by moving to register Eleni as his daughter, draw up a will and arrange his marriage. Esme and Adil still cannot forgive each other, so they agree to marry anyway, as a fortress against their enemies. At the Eid feast, Adil announces the plan to the Furtunas.
