“Forgiving the cruel is betraying the oppressed.”
Episode 36 opens in the aftermath of the Koçari wedding. Şerif collapses at the hotel, Eleni revives him, and Esme learns that the man she wanted behind bars is walking free. While Firtina Village argues over unpicked tea, Oruç goes missing and both families start searching for him. The hunt leads to a cliff, a makeshift sickbed, a hospital corridor and a very dangerous accusation. Here is what happens, without the final twist.
Şerif Survives and Esme Breaks Down
Şerif is cut down and his heart stops, but Eleni performs CPR and brings him back. Adil had agreed to a deal with him: Şerif drops his complaint and Esme does not go to prison, though Adil refuses to leave the village. Later Esme confronts her daughter and her husband. She says forgiving the cruel is betraying the oppressed, and that holding on for justice was what kept her standing. Eleni begs for her mother’s forgiveness. Meanwhile Şerif learns he has been released from prison.
The Tea Crisis and the Search for Oruç
Zarife tells the factory manager to stop sending trucks to the Fırtına fields, and the village is left with sacks of unpicked tea. Behçet stirs up the crowd, asking where their leader is. Esme steps in, fires the manager and appoints a new one. She turns to Adil for trucks, and the tea moves. In the middle of it all, Oruç has vanished. İso is tied up after a fight over his missing brother, and Adil sets out with Eyüp Ali and Çakır to find out who took Oruç out of the Koçari warehouse.

A Cliff, a Clinic and a Hospital Standoff
Emriye Hanım has found Oruç at the bottom of the cliff. She refuses an ambulance, afraid that the Koçari pickup seen on camera will send Adil to prison. Eleni says Oruç is dying and needs an ultrasound, so the clinic is raided for supplies. After Niko sends the location, an ambulance takes Oruç to hospital. Zarife accuses Adil of murder, Cengiz steps in as his lawyer, and the police arrive. A single word from the wounded Oruç puts everything in doubt.
