Episode 30 of Vefa Sultan opens with the capital’s order being tested from several sides. Molla Sirin is named as the man behind the plot against the Sultan, Sinan Pasa and Haci pursue the network of traitors, and Dr. Leon’s circle waits for news in hiding. Meanwhile Sheik Vefa goes into seclusion, and Sultan Mehmed asks how Sferaki became a home for Muslims. The visit that follows does not go the way a ruler might expect.
Molla Sirin Is Named as the Traitor
A captured man is questioned and finally says he took his orders from Molla Sirin. Sinan Pasa and Haci recall that Sirin is the same Molla who speaks against Vefa Sultan in the councils, and Deliormanli is told to uproot the matter. Haci admits that Vefa was wronged and says his anger will not fade until the traitor is caught. Later, before the Sheik al-Islam, a prisoner faces the threat of being skinned alive and gives up the name of Dr. Leon.
Celaleddin Asks for Forgiveness at the Lodge
Sheik Vefa withdraws into seclusion, leaving Salman and Hamid to run the lodge. Hamid reports that guests keep arriving, Muslim and Christian alike, and that neighbors who once ignored the dervishes now invite them into their shops. When Vefa returns, Celaleddin comes to the door asking forgiveness. Vefa tells him that to cross this threshold he must become nothing, and offers him a seat as a guest. Vefa then teaches his students about loyalty as a covenant that softens even those who wished him harm.

Sultan Mehmed asks Molla Gurani how Muslims were persuaded to settle in the city. Gurani has no answer and points to Vefa Sultan in Sferaki. The Sultan goes to the lodge himself, but Vefa does not give permission to enter. Mehmed says he has opened castles and cities yet could not open this door. A conversation about service, good words and the roles of rulers and sheiks follows. Elsewhere Leon, still in hiding, vows revenge and names Vefa as his first target.
