Watch Vefa Sultan Episode 32 (Season 2 Episode 2) with English Subtitles – Zulfikar Targets Yareli as Ali Makes His Stick
“Woe to those who break a heart.”
Episode 32 of Vefa Sultan opens with a grandfather shaping a stick and a lesson about hearts that break. In the lodge, Ahmed’s gift of a bag touches the Sheik, while Ali is told to find a dry branch for his own staff. Outside, Zulfikar sinks deeper into gambling debt, and Yareli pays the price. Zembilli struggles with a love he cannot speak. Here is a spoiler-light recap of what happens, with English subtitles available.
A Stick for a Broken Heart
The episode begins with a grandfather explaining that a dervish’s staff is more than a branch. It is a companion to the heart, and breaking it breaks the dervish too. The theme returns when Ahmed gives the Sheik a bag he made himself. The Sheik accepts it warmly and says everything that comes from Ahmed is welcome. Later he comforts Yareli, whose cane was broken, and explains that souls are linked the way hearts are. Mending the cane may help mend the heart, and he warns that those who break a heart simply walk away without looking back.
Zulfikar’s Debts Close In
Zulfikar keeps losing money at gambling and presses a shopkeeper for more. When Dogan Agha hears that Yareli was attacked, he vows to come down on Zulfikar like a black cloud. Zulfikar then asks Seddar Agha for a loan and is refused, along with a lecture on Bektashi etiquette and dignity. Seddar has also looked into the matter and finds accusations of oppression and extorted tributes. He is told to catch Zulfikar in the act at the market. Cevahir warns of a trap, and Zulfikar decides that Yareli must have talked.

Ali, Zembilli and the Lodge
Ali longs to enter seclusion, and the Sheik tells him to first make a support strong enough to bear his own weight. Ali brings a branch he dried over a fire, but the Sheik says a patient walnut branch is better, and that a dervish must not hurt those he loves. Meanwhile Zembilli falls behind on his book and admits to Haci that he fears speaking to the woman he loves. Leyla shows Salman the little socks she knitted for their child, but his mind is elsewhere.
