Episode 28 opens with Esme fighting for her life after being shot, while Serif Furtuna carries Eleni away toward the sea. The Chase and the Missing Daughter
The episode begins in a rush. Esme is wounded by a gunshot to the abdomen, and the family races the ambulance while police close the roads around Altindere. Serif’s men switch cars and get away with Eleni. Adil learns that Serif is heading for Russia by sea on a boat called Karayel 2, and he calls in a contact to track it. At the hospital the surgery goes well, but Oruç has vanished. Iso searches for his brother, and Oruç’s mother Zarife demands answers from the people around her.
Secrets Between Adil and Esme
Once Esme is stable, the real fight begins. Adil asks her not to be cold, and the two argue bitterly about years of hidden truth. One says the silence was meant to prevent bloodshed, while the other answers that Eleni grew up without knowing her parents. Esme describes nursing a baby she did not know was her own and singing her a folk song. They agree to tell no one what they know until Eleni is found. Meanwhile Sirin admits she reported Serif twenty years ago.

Timur Volkov, a Russian businessman of Turkish origin, uses this to find her. Adil agrees to smuggle gold for him, and Timur promises to name a further condition. Oruç is caught on the property and locked in a room. Adil and Esme head for Tbilisi, where Timur’s demand is waiting.
