“We either betray each other, or we kill each other.”
Episode 6 of Taşacak Bu Deniz keeps the search for Eleni’s mother at full speed. Esme is told her baby died and refuses to believe it, Adil and Gezep race to the Baltacı Plateau to find the midwife Sultan, and Şerif Furtuna sends armed men to stop them. Oruç has to choose between his uncle and the truth. By the end, Adil sets a deadline for the Furtunas that nobody can ignore.
Esme Doubts the Grave
Esme asks whether the baby she buried really died. Flashbacks to twenty years ago show how she was told Adil had used her, and how Şerif offered to marry her. In the present she visits Eleni, learns the doctor is 20, and quietly takes a coffee cup to a lab for a DNA test, but they refuse without a court order or Eleni’s consent. Her argument with Şerif at the hotel ends with her saying she would rather lie in a grave than stay with him.
The Hunt for Midwife Sultan
Gezep traces the retired midwife to Rize and learns she went to Baltacı Plateau. Hicran warns her aunt by message, and Şerif orders Gökhan to block every road and shoot whoever comes. Thirteen men corner Adil, Gezep and Fadime until Oruç bluffs that the police are on the way, with a little help from a friend named Niko. At the plateau, the old woman they chase turns out to be Balli, Sultan’s daughter. Gezep finds she has been collecting her mother’s pension.

Oruç confronts his uncle and learns what the family has been hiding, and then Zarife begs him not to tell Koçari. Adil raids the Furtuna mansion and strikes a bargain with Oruç: bring Eleni’s mother, with a five minute deadline before the noon prayer, or he will destroy Furtuna.
