Episode 41 of Vefa Sultan begins with a restless seeker and moves into the lodge, where small household quarrels carry a heavy lesson. Salman learns what a burden really weighs, Zulfikar keeps working to earn forgiveness, and a Friday sermon gives the dervishes a way to help Zembilli and Elif. A Seeker Sent to Constantinople
The episode opens with a seeker who has impressed everyone with his answers, yet feels an emptiness he cannot name. He decides that medicine, temperament and existence all have limits, and that fame was never what he should have chased. He prepares his questions for Sheikh Burhaneddin Kadri, who praises them but shows with a bowl of water and ink that his answers would only cloud the water. The Sheikh sends him to Constantinople, to Sheikh Abu Al-Vefa Mustafa Muslihiddin, whom the people call Vefa Sultan.
Salman, the Stones and the Cradle
At home, a fallen shelf and broken jugs set off a bitter argument between Salman and his pregnant wife. He accuses her of never being satisfied, and she reminds him how much she has done for him and the baby. Salman even says he could not become a dervish. Vefa Sultan has him take off his vest and carry stones that stand for intolerance, indifference, lack of love and lack of awareness. Then he asks why Salman cannot bear his wife’s frown while her own burden is so heavy.

At the Friday prayer, Vefa Sultan speaks on making marriage easy. Suleyman Effendi has asked for one hundred gold coins as mahr for Zembilli to marry Elif, and the dervishes could not gather it. After the sermon they offer to collect aid for their brother, and Salman is among those who give.
