Episode 14 of Taşacak Bu Deniz opens with Fadime and İso facing Grandma Şirin and admitting why they rushed into a marriage. Back home, the news lands badly with the Koçaris, and a standoff on the road ends in gunfire and a wounded Oruç. Eleni’s mother arrives to help, Gezep loses his patience at the Furtuna mansion, and a betrothal evening is arranged. Here is what happens, without spoiling the final moments.
Grandma Şirin Forces the Marriage
Fadime and İso take their problem to Grandma Şirin at the mosque. They explain that Şerif ordered İso to kill Fadime to prove his loyalty. Şirin is shaken, but she settles on one answer: the two must marry, or the feud keeps feeding itself and Adil ends up in prison. Both protest and trade insults, yet Şirin asks for their ID cards. When they announce the marriage at the Koçari house, Adil and Eyüphan explode, and a scuffle breaks out before the two families pull everyone apart.
Gunfire at the Bridge and a Wounded Oruç
Behçet and Şerif’s men arrive to bring İso back, and the standoff turns into gunfire. Oruç tries to sneak around through the streambed to stop it and is shot in the shoulder. Eleni finds a torn brachial artery, and a hospital is out of the question with the prosecutor watching. Gezep bluntly tells Esme to choose between İso and Oruç. Eleni calls her mother Melina, a surgeon, and the family waits through a tense operation. By morning, Oruç is out of danger.

Adil Faces İso and a Betrothal Is Set
İso tells Adil he married Fadime because he loves her, and he will not take back the word Abi. İso then convinces Şerif that the marriage hurts Adil more than killing Fadime would, though Şerif still keeps the gun. Gezep later storms the Furtuna mansion with a pistol and is stopped only by Adil’s word. Amirum then tells Şirin to come and ask for Fadime tonight. At the betrothal, Adil sets a condition: İso must live as a groom in the Koçari house. The night closes with a phone call that changes the mood.
