Episode 19 begins with a worried search for young Ibrahim, who has slipped out of the house again, and ends with a child’s quiet prayer. In between, Ayse shares news of another baby, Blacksmith Refik is sentenced to forty strokes of the cane over a ruined sword, and Bayram Efendi refuses to believe his friend Omer is guilty. Emir Sultan also visits Somuncu Baba, and the Sultan makes a decision about the mosque.
A Missing Boy and Good News at Home
The episode opens with a search for Ibrahim, who has left home without telling anyone. Bayram Efendi tracks him to the bakery, where he is enjoying a hot loaf, and the Sheikh sends him home with a gentle warning about worrying his mother. Back at the house, Ayse tells Numan that she is pregnant, and the whole family celebrates. Later the children come to their mother with a hard question: should we fear Allah? She answers patiently, speaking about repentance, shame and the meaning of prayer.
Blacksmith Refik Faces the Qadi
A customer accuses Blacksmith Refik of wasting the raw iron meant for a sword, and the Sultan himself follows the case. The Qadi sentences Refik to forty strokes of the cane. Refik then points at his Kalfa Omer, claiming Omer asked the Guild about a free shop. Omer calls it slander, and Bayram vouches for him from their days in Enguru. The Qadi demands proof. Bayram borrows a knife that Omer made and tells the Sheikh that the solution is in the palm of his hand.

Emir Sultan Visits Somuncu Baba
Emir Sultan arrives with a sheep’s head to be cooked and to finally meet Somuncu Baba. The baker says the pot calls for his expert hand, and Emir Sultan, who once made pottery in Bukhara, is visibly struck. They talk about open and secret Dhikr. Afterwards Emir Sultan looks shaken and asks Numan, “Did you know?” before walking away. Elsewhere the Sultan decides the new mosque will have a single minaret, and the bazaar waits for its caravans. The closing scene is a child’s Dua, which we leave for you to hear.
