“Cling to prayer, not to stones, gentlemen.”
Episode 7 of Imam Ghazali moves between a sickroom, a lodge and a village on the edge of violence. Teacher Seyyide burns with fever and begs to be taken to Nishapur. Ahmad Efendi, shaken by his own silence, is told by Sheikh Efendi that knowledge cannot become truth until he sets out on a path. Salih’s imprisonment weighs on every heart, and a burial in a hostile village becomes a test of mercy against anger. Here is what happens, without spoiling the ending.
Teacher Seyyide’s Fever and the Road to Nishapur
The episode opens with a mother asking why she was not told that Salih is in the dungeon. The answer is that it was meant to spare her grief. Soon after, Teacher Seyyide collapses with a high fever and ice-cold hands. Even in that state she asks to be taken to Nishapur, so her companions set out in a cart. The journey goes badly. A wheel sticks in the mud, the weak horses refuse to drink, and her fever worsens. Memories of Salih reciting the verse about trusting in Allah, and of his mother’s words, run through these scenes.
Ahmad Efendi and the Sheikh’s Lesson on Silence
Ahmad Efendi admits to Sheikh Efendi that he forgot what he knew in front of his students. His pen felt broken and his voice failed him. The Sheikh answers that the problem was staying silent without knowing what he was burying inside, and tells him to stop talking and set out on a path. They speak of the rose, of Prophet Yusuf’s well, and of Salih alone in the dungeon like a rose upon a thorn. The Sheikh chooses two humble working horses for the trip. His reason is that the truest journey is the one where hearts understand one another.

For any issues, please check our FAQ
Check if you have issues on all your devices (phone, tablet, laptop, PC…) or just your TV.
Different manufacturers (Samsung, LG and others) have different operating systems on which their TV’s run. Samsung uses Tizen while LG has webOS and they are not up to date with the latest standards in video playback.
That’s why we developed a player which supports casting feature.
If the video is playable on your other devices, try casting it to your TV.
In some cases casting icon doesn’t show up on the lower edge of the player to iPhone/iPad owners.
If you face such an issue, we recommend using Tubio app. It’s free and you can download it from App Store by clicking this link.
With it, you can cast any video from your iPhone/iPad to your TV.

Yes it does! Our new player supports casting feature so you can easily cast the video from your phone/tablet/laptop or PC to your TV
Video casting is a feature which allows you to send (or cast) a video from your phone, tablet, laptop or a PC to your Smart TV or other Cast-enabled device (such as Smart TV’s, Chromecast and other devices with cast functionality).
It makes watching a video on your TV very convenient because you don’t have to use your TV’s browser (which are often not very user friendly) to find the video and play it on your TV.
Insted, you simply:
- find it on your phone, tablet, laptop or a PC,
- click ‘Cast’ button (image below) on the lower edge of the video,
- select a TV to which you want to send the video
and video playback will start on your TV.
Note: Your TV and your phone, tablet, laptop or a PC need to be on the same network. It’s usually the case at home but, for example, if your phone is on mobile network and your TV is connected to your home network, casting button won’t show up on your phone because your phone doesn’t “see” your TV because they are not on the same network. In which case, simply connect your phone to your home network and reload the browsers page where the player is.

Clear cookies, clear cache, try a different browser.
Here’s a handy guide for most browsers.
Try using a different network. For example, if you have issues on your home network, you can try using your phone and it’s mobile network, in which case, your ISP is blocking the access to the video so maybe you should consider switching ISPs or using a VPS service.
A Funeral That Turns a Village Against Them
On the road they find a man being buried with no family and no funeral prayer, because the villagers say he hurt many people. The Sheikh insists a Muslim cannot be buried without it, and the prayer is performed. Villagers who saw it accuse the travelers of defending a tyrant, then turn on his house and begin to stone it, orphans inside. The Sheikh tells them the sins of one person cannot be passed to a child, and that stones will not bring justice. What the village does next is left for the final minutes.
